I had no choice but to be hopeful because nothing with traditional healthcare/medication has worked for me or my friends. The program introduction was encouraging and I was excited to begin! I fully believe, and have now experienced, that lifestyle changes can reverse PCOS and PCOS symptoms. No weird medication needed!! It's definitely more work to make these changes than to pop a pill every day, but SO worth it! I feel more empowered in my health, more in control of my wellbeing, and more knowledgeable about the changes I alone have the power to make to reverse symptoms of hormonal imbalance and feel like the best version of myself. I’ve seen my skin improve, a little less weight around my stomach, and more energy! It was amazing how you broke down complex medical concepts into easily understandable and relatable ideas, without "dumbing it down" too much. I love learning about why things happen in our bodies, and felt like I was able to grasp that throughout the program. It's hard to find material on PCOS/hormones that isn't either too science-y and boring or way too simplified and lacking in info. This program has been an awesome balance! The tangible and specific lifestyle changes that were included - this program was certainly not vague or generalized and I have so much information that I can now carry into the rest of my life and share with others. The amount of information offered was also great - no shortage of that! Posting in the Facebook group has actually been really helpful and cool to see people interact with each other and be able to converse with others who are going through similar health struggles. It was also really valuable to have access to Laura, Anita, MaryAnn via the Facebook group. Being able to ask PCOS-related questions to these health professionals in such an accessible way was probably the #1 benefit for me. I'm getting the sense that this program would be helpful for general hormonal imbalances in women, or for women to just want to optimize their fertility, fix hormonal issues like acne/weight gain/etc. vs. exclusively women with PCOS. I know SO many women who have hormonal imbalances or issues with adrenal fatigue, dysbiosis, etc- who do not have a PCOS diagnosis.
